Job Description

Telesis Operator Reports to:  Area Supervisor

General Aluminum Manufacturing Company, 1370 Chamberlain Blvd., Conneaut, OH 44030, 440.593.6225

Job Purpose:  The Telesis operator is responsible for the final inspect of the product before shipment to customer.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Knowledge of safety rules and that work area MUST be kept clean at all times; Knowledge of Team Leader and Supervisor; Knows proper PPE; Understanding of visual casting defects; Comprehends the importance of traceability of the parts; Communication with supervision for Defects seen, and timely availability of trees for Telesis; Completes the paperwork on time, know how to use the copier; Understands casting defect acceptance criteria; Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:  Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent technical experience; Must have experience in a manufacturing environment; Must be able to communicate effectively.
