About the role:  The function of this role within the Maintenance Workflow is to develop planned job packages for Instrument and Electrical (I&E) maintenance repair work and improvement projects based on priorities established by the Production Maintenance Coordinator (PMC).  This includes performing shutdown planning, and supervising I&E and Mechanical Maintenance personnel as assigned.  The job plans must fully satisfy the notification scope and include all material, services, resources and appropriate individual operations or tasks.  This position must insure that sufficient amount of work is planned to maintain plant reliability.  Commit to learning, following and practicing the INEOS 20 Principles of Process and Behavioral Safety and INEOS Life-Saving Rules on a daily basis.  This position is designated as a Safety Critical Role.

Responsibilities:  Accountable for planning maintenance work to ensure safe, permit compliant, efficient and effective operations on a twenty-four hour/day continuously operated facility; Strive for unit/plant operational excellence by developing efficient and cost effective job plans (maintain high levels of performance in safety, compliance, reliability, quality, and cost  through planned maintenance activities); Communicate and meet with Production Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance/Process Specialists and others as necessary to establish work priorities.  Attend the 5-day scheduling meeting with above team members; Perform detailed planning for work notifications (priority 2, 3 and 4 jobs).  Detailed planning should include but not be limited to:  assessing the scope of work to be done via notification text/field verification, collecting drawings/specifications/procedures/welding QAQC plans/etc. pertinent to complete the work, estimating manpower of skill crafts, procuring material/services, determining special tools/equipment/etc. required to execute the work, and assimilating timely job plans and packages per the needs of Operations, Maintenance Supervisor, Specialist and/or Mechanics per Workflow Maintenance Guideline; Creating BOMs (Equipment Bill of Materials) where appropriate.  BOM changes are made in accordance with Maintenance Guideline 1.22; Develop and maintain job plan files for future reference.  Solicit feedback on executed job plans and make necessary changes to insure continuous planning improvement; Participate in the bidding process and requisitioning for third party services.  Provide coordination required for utilization of the contractors as necessary.  Write any change orders as necessary upon job completion; Ensure the MOC/RFC process is followed as required per AC/QSP-AC-12; Set up and delete spare parts as required to support maintenance activities using structure per Maintenance Guideline 1.22; Shutdown support, off-hours coverage and rotating weekend duty as required; Travel as required, less than 5%; Ensure that workplace is free of discrimination and that individuals are treated with respect.

Job Requirements

You Should possess:  HS diploma or equivalent; Minimum 5 years’ experience with exposure to I&E Maintenance in a manufacturing environment; Experience working in an operating chemical plant is an asset; Excellent knowledge of SAP with specific knowledge in the maintenance, storeroom, and purchasing modules.  Must be versed in work order requests and management of PMs.  Experience in planning module and material sub-contract module; I&E Maintenance planning and organizing skills; Working knowledge of plant piping specifications; Ability to interpret critical drawings including Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), electrical schematic diagrams, loop wiring diagrams, etc; Knowledge of various plant equipment and machinery; Mechanical Aptitude-use of precision measurement tools and assembly techniques; Attention to detail and project/planning focus; Ability to work unsupervised; Proven ability to create, maintain data and use reporting features of office software programs; Technical Problem Solving-development of solutions  with self-motivation to drive implementation; Functionality with various computer programs (SAP, Word, Excel, etc.);  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; Consistently demonstrate high standards and model the appropriate behaviors; Strong knowledge of the plant process; Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
