Human Resources Representative at Worthington Industries in Jefferson, OH
The Human Resources Coordinator provides overall human resource and benefit administrative support for the Jefferson Cylinders manufacturing plant. This position will support the HR Manager and other managers in the facility through various tasks and projects.
Responsibilities: provides benefit administration including — answering questions, completing and filing necessary forms, employee training, new hire benefit orientation and exit process, open enrollment, etc.; performs payroll administration including time, processing of payroll information, etc.; involved in the recruitment and selection process such as screening, interviewing, onboarding, etc.; coordinates miscellaneous programs including health fairs, banquets, picnics, attendance and recognition awards, etc.; performs compensation administration including processing HR/Payroll related changes, profit sharing review and submission, etc.; responsible for human resource admin such as performance management, discipline, and employee training. Other duties as assigned.
Basic knowledge of company programs (benefits, payroll, compensation, workers compensation and human resource programs); basic knowledge of human resources laws and regulations; customer service focused; organized and detail oriented; work independently and interact with all levels of employees (production and management; strong interpersonal skills; advanced communication skills; excellent prioritizing skills; ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
