Experience: In possession or in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in the field of Sports Management/Athletic Administration/Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA/NIAAA/ Registered Athletic Administrator (RAA/NIAAA); Documentation of a clear criminal record via BCII and FBI background check; Completion of all "pupil activity supervisor" validation requirements; Applicable knowledge of interscholastic athletic program regulations; Meets all prerequisite qualifications to be bonded; Currently certified in basic CPR and First Aid.

Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  Directs the effective delivery and continuous  improvement of the district’s interscholastic athletic program; Administers the Board-approved budget, consults with coaches to evaluate program needs, approves the purchase of essential supplies; equipment and uniforms; Coordinates athletic events, program schedules, assignment of officials, and facility use; Oversees coaching staff selection and orientation process; verifies that all coaches have completed training requirements and are properly qualified; Verifies that students athletes have fulfilled requirements for receiving letters, awards, and certificates; Builds community partnerships that enhance district programs and services; Updates and oversees the distribution of athletic program handbooks; Develops and carries out a ticket sales policy and procedure, oversees game receipts; Coordinates transportation needs with Director of Fleet Operations; Is highly visible and accessible, attends athletic events, participates in meetings; Maintains accurate records, submits timely reports, and completes coach evaluations; Accepts personal responsibility for decisions and conduct; Performs other related duties as prescribed by the administration; Serves as administrative liaison to league affiliates; Works with the Maintenance Supervisor in making sure the athletic facilities are properly maintained and are in safe working conditions; Makes sure all school websites and social media sites are current and up-to-date; Works hand-in-hand with the Athletic Boosters for fundraising and equipment purposes; Establish a relationship with the local sports recreation departments to create community relationships; Verifies the academic eligibility of all district students; Organizes spirit-oriented school and community activities.
