Job Summary: Entry or development level position in our Field Metering Services department with potential progression. We are seeking individuals with strong customer service skills and a desire to learn and perform advanced task. In this role, you will perform a variety of skilled tasks on meters and metering equipment, which include: Installation and repair of electronic monitoring and reading equipment on residential and small commercial meters; Reading meters; Inspection for interior service line leaks and/or atmospheric corrosion; Operating curb valves; Performing credit disconnection work (summer months only); Conducting miscellaneous surveys; Operate associated data entry devices and prepare documents / reports as required by the work performed. Since our Field Metering Services Department works closely with their peers and our customers, excellent communication skills are critical when it comes to customer satisfaction.
